Who wants to know something really interesting/neat about one of our roosters, Ruby?
Well believe it or not Ruby seems to be non-binary and/or genderfluid!
Unfortunately I don’t have a video of it yet but the reason I say this is because, no joke, he sometimes acts like a hen. He’ll sometimes sit on the ground and start making these hen noises like when hens sit eggs except he doesn’t actually sit on anything.
Anyways Ruby is pretty clearly non-binary and I think it’s neat cause I feel like people don’t think about the possibility of non-binary animals. I mean I sure as heck didn’t before Ruby started sometimes acting like hen!
But yeah. Non-binary and gender fluid animals. It’s a thing.
