I apologize for being so slow with this, but 2nd post for the beginning is done. I think. It better be!!

I'm peeking in, one to say a big heartfelt thank you to any that sent their condolences and checked in on me over the last several months. you have no idea what that means. One of the hardest things right now is the stillness in my home, even with a teenager bopping around you can feel the layer of grief blanketing the space. How after things settle and everyone goes back to their lives ours is still shattered and alone, in silence we attempt to pick up the pieces. Also to say Im hopeful I will get the desire to immerse myself in the things i enjoy, sims included but right now I know my heart isnt in it. My HTDF save sits collecting dust the tale and BC waiting patiently and I am so sorry that I haven't been able to work on it let alone complete it but I will, it will just be a bit longer. So for all that have patiently waited thank you. I fiddled with my simself last night, even she looks about an emotional wreck as i feel. but hey time in CAS right.. (silver lining where I can get it folks) Im going to try to at least log in more and get caught up on peoples post and stories I know i could use some pixelated joy right about now but i promise very little at the moment. I miss my moots and time here anyway again big thank you for all the condolences

Yesterday, my partner of close to 30 years passed away unexpectedly.

Im at a total loss and im just lost ...

I will return at some point because the sims are my little happy place. This community, the pictures, stories, etc, bring me joy.

I'll peek in from time to time, but for now, I need to shift focus and figure out how i move forward without my person, my center, my home
