In that fictional but possibly prophetic universe there's no need for money. Need something? It's given to you. You work in a coop for results. Food, shelter etc is given to you. Everyone works for the greater cause. There's no poverty. i haven't watched the video and hopefully they're not anti-USA but just anti-capitalism. The latter is simply saying either you're doing it wrong or, we need to evolve. This hasn't worked well for millennia. And it's true. Capitalism in of itself is a self perpetuating human rights crime we've learned to live with. However, out of innocence because no one has a better idea in a peaceful, convincing way. And that's a major shift before we're a me, me it's about me and my comfort and status etc. No one wants to work for a greater good. We want a big, fat reward. We're a what's in it for me Society on a planetary scale. Possibly the Singularity will change that at least slowly at first.
