psa: do not reset the simulation in no man's sky on the latest update (aquarius) if you have a freighter
it will disappear. you will not be able to summon it and the game will say you don't own a freighter. you can teleport to where it was from space stations and stuff but you will either end up in the middle of space or be stuck in a partially loaded segment of your freighter base with your life support draining rapidly if you do, and you cannot access the build menu or your freighter inventory.
i and several people on the nms subreddit have reported the bug already but it might be a bit before a patch is pushed out.
nothing else seems affected- i still have my settlement, my ships, and all of my storage containers' inventories, and i don't have a fleet, so i can't speak on that. i haven't gotten a chance to test whether you can retrieve your base/freighter inventory/fleet if you get a new freighter or not yet, but it's probably best not to risk it.
