To celebrate 30 years as one of New Zealand’s most inventive and invigorating labels, NOM*d presents their AW17 collection ‘1986′. Sub-cultural influences of the late 70′s and 80′s post-punk through to the subversive grunge of the 90′s run rampant throughout the collection, a recurring theme synonymous with the label, and with three decades now under their belt NOM*d shows no signs of slowing down.
Signature pieces, exciting splashes of electric yellow and the re-imagining of logos and graphics paired with iconic NOM*d prints take centre stage this season. Key pieces that I feel deserve a permanent place in your closet as essentials for this Autumn/Winter are the ‘XL Hoodie’ over-sized hooded sweatshirt (bottom right) and the ‘Session Wrap’ Italian mohair blend cardigan (top right).Â
The entire AW17 collection can be viewed and bought (here). Be bold this season, wear NOM*d.
