I just realized that I hadn’t given a Mooshka update in awhile! Well, what’s amazing is that she’s still with us and she’s so happy! Her skin is really healing... only one or two little raw spots left, and all her hair is growing back. She’s got lots of energy and an enormous appetite! I’m feeding her only Stella and Chewys freeze dried raw food .. Duck, Duck , Goose! I think that many of her complications may have come from being allergic to the cheap chicken and by products that are found in even expensive boutique cat foods and also, please be wary of feeding your cat a grain free cat food... not because of the grain because cats do not need grain , but because many of the limited ingredient foods do not have sufficient Taurine which all cats need to survive and thrive. I couldn’t believe it when I started doing the research. She started developing breathing and heart problems ( cardiomyopathy)just like the dogs have been doing which led to her inability to process anything through her liver ( no oxygen!)
