Truthful Tuesday
1. There was a woman on the bus last night who was screaming at her kid and I did nothing except look on with everyone else on the bus wishing it would stop. I need to get so much better at being brave and stepping in, even if I still have no idea what I could practically do to help. I’m not a parent, and don’t want to deliver a lecture to someone who is most likely at the end of her rope, but there must be something I can do to help diffuse the situation.
2. I’m really enjoying having David around and am so thankful that he understands that when I get home from work I have so little energy to give him the attention he deserves. He’s only here for a few more weeks and I want to have made the most of every moment. Long distance sucks balls sometimes.
3. Board games can be so much fun! And don’t require too much of my non existent energy at the end of the day. So that’s nice

I’m really thankful to some of you on here and wanted to mention just a few of you by name: noel-anthony thank you for being the first person to start a conversation with me on here and seem genuinely interested in what I was saying. I know I’ve been very slack recently but will probably be more chatty in a few weeks time once David has gone home again. beegoould I love your sense of humour and your vulnerability. I read so many of your posts that hit me in the feels. I’m so glad you’ve found happiness and some joy scholvin thanks for your honesty on here and thanks for showing me what life can be like for the people of people with MS. This disease sucks hard sometimes. xntrek Thanks for reaching back. It’s nice to know someone in this neck of the woods is also part of this wider community. Helps to feel less isolated. I look forward to more dad jokes! @tj thanks for being the closest thing to a spiritual advisor I have these days. And for showing what authentic faith can look like.
