noel scrolls through instagram, laying on his couch while he hangs out with sofia. he's always hanging out with sofia these days. a recommended post makes him chuckle. "look at this," he grins and shows her the picture of the two of them, drunk and high, getting out of a bar. that was only three hours ago. it's past midnight now. "these fuckers are everywhere." the musician isn't mad, not really. it amuses him. and it's great free publicity.

twenty minutes after the show ends, noel packs up his guitar and a backpack with pedals, cables and makeup. that was a good one, his bassist says. the band hangs out and the frontman ends up lying on the floor, on top of a mountain of bags and jackets. the post-show adrenaline setting on his body like a haze around him. the venue's security guard walks into the dressing room, asking if anyone knows this fan. noel decides she's absolutely beautiful. "yeah," he calls out with a stupid grin on his face.

"hey, sweetheart," noel smiles and kisses josie's cheek as soon as he opens the door. after the night marty passed out and the blond had bumped into her in the hallway, they've been inseparable. being together again feels so right. "i'm glad your stupid brother was too tired to drag me back to a party," he says, pulling his girlfriend in by the waist, no one around the stairs next to his apartment. a smirk spreads across his face, "i just want you."

noel is the kind of guy who tends to go to the same bar over and over again in nyc. but tonight, tonight he feels spontaneous enough to go to a new one. he walks inside and finds an empty stool by the bar. he knows what he wants, and when the bartender approaches him, the blond cannot believe what his eyes are seeing. "fancy seeing you here, kiara," noel smiles softly. hoping she would be happy to see him.

"hey, sof," noel smiles when she opens the door. "i just had this meeting around the corner," he says. it'd gone well for a marketing meeting. kind of exhausting but mostly great. "i also got you something." the greatest part was he finally got a mockup for his new merch. and he can't wait to see it on one of his biggest fans. "can i come in?"

for their third date, noel takes claire out to a vintage bar. it's 70s themed. retro-futurism with bright neon lights, a jukebox actually connected to a streaming platform, and leather booths comfortable and intimate enough for laughing and flirting. "i don't come here a lot, but when i do, i always have tequila," the musician chuckles as he leans back. "what are you having?"
