Pardon the shot, I was already hungry.
Nodasho is located inside Little Tokyo in Makati.
Little Tokyo is not a restaurant. It's a flock of restaurants. Like a constellation of heavenly objects. Little Tokyo has around 8-10 authentic Japanese restaurants in the area.
And of course we had to order the basics.
Hindi malansa. So approved!
Rarely do I find gyoza that I dislike and this is one of them. The wrappers are just so... destructible. Probably thinner than wonton. So soft and sticky. Not recommended.
Well who doesn't like tempura, right?
Very large serving right there. But scarcity of pork is evident.
However, I did enjoy the noodles. The broth is light on the palate yet flavorful. This can compete with other Shoyu Ramens in the Metro (tastewise only).
Special Lunch Set (Php350)
Salmon, fried egg, cabbage salad served with rice and miso soup.
Crab Cream Croquette (Php190)
I want one now. NOW. NOW!!! I was hesitant to try this since me is not a fan of crabs. But holy neptune! No crab/seafood/fishy taste or smell at all. It's like eating deep fried lasagna with panko bread crumbs. The bechamel sauce was supernatural. Extra terrestrial.
What I really really really loved about dish are the bits of fried tempura batter. Really really. According to Google, Tanuki is a raccoon dog. It's not a raccoon. It is a dog. But looks like a raccoon. Which is kinda eerie. A dog is big so this is... A big raccoon? And what does it have to do with this bowl?
