Starbound element Headcannon: Modded metals
131: Untriunium, also known as Lasombrium
Melting Point: 341 C Boiling point: 399 C Density: Unknown Symbol Ls A strange metal that is on the verge of being either in this realm, or some... other. It’s mass fluctuates too much to get a good measurement. Taints the mind when used as armor, but reports say that it’s decently durable.
132: Untribium, also known as Prisilite
Melting point: 5132 C Boiling point: 8109 C Density: 9.9 g/cm^3 Symbol: Pt A strange metal, and impossibly tough, akin to a diamond. it is hard to forge with it due to the high tempratures and durability. it keeps it’s edge as a blade, but not practical as armor.
133: Untritrium, also known as Triangulum
Melting point: 1211 Boiling point: 3212 Density: 8.4 g/cm^3 Symbol: Tg A material that can be efficiently packaged. Also conducts electricity well and is strongly diamagnetic (it repels a magnet)
134: Untriquadium, also known as Nocxium
Melting point: Fluctuates, but goes no higher than 1034 C Boiling point: Unknown Density: 6.66 g/cm^3 Symbol: Nx A bar of raw, refined chaos, possibly linked to the old ones. it’s aura causes anyone who isn’t strong-minded to go insane. those who do handle it say it’s akin to Rubium in durability
135: Untripentium, also known as Pyreite
Melting point: 5500 C boiling point: 10101 C Density: 14.6 g/cm^3 Symbol: Py A metal that emits a naturally high temprature, upwards of 1000 Celsius. It can be cooled down by oil or some cold liquid or alloy. Used in heated blades and perpetual heaters.
136: Untrihexium, also known as Penumbrite
Melting point: 2222 C Boiling point: 3333 C Density: 4.4 g/cm^3 Symbol: Pm A shard of a glowing material. Used in glowsticks and flashy props, as it dulls pretty quickly.
137: Untriseptium, Also known as Xithricite
Melting point: 500 C at 20 atmospheres, burns otherwise Boiling point: Unknown Density: 5.9 g/cm^3 Symbol: Xt A crystaline metal that acts as a supercharged quartz crystal, in that it gives off energy when compressed and expands when given energy. Used in electric-immune armor and shock blades, as well as a compression generator
138: Untrioctium, also known as Irradium
Melting point: 512 C Boiling point: 1324 C Density: 20.2 g/cm^3 Symbol: Id Half-life: 32 million years A radioactive metal that decays into an isotope of Xithricite, which is just a lump of dead metal. It’s radioactivity can be used in nuclear reactors for power, and the decay product just becomes a harmless, if dense, rock.
139: Untriennium, also known as Voidum
Melting point: 300C Boiling point: unknown Density: Unknown Symbol: Vd Half-life: 40 thousand years A very radioactive, and almost unnatural material. things made out of Voidum sap the life out of those who are either wearing the armor, or are hit by it. It decays into an isotope of Voidum, which itself decays back to elemental voidum. Extremely useful for RTGs due to this unusual property.
