Ruby:

It was an exhausting fight, but Teams RWBY, LAPS and ALPN had succeeded in their mission. As a reward, General James Ironwood granted them the night off. All 3 teams cheered with glee, they've been looking forward to this for a long time. While everyone was having fun in the break room, and Prompto was taking pictures, Ruby tugged Noctis by his sleeve.

Noctis: Hm? What is it Ruby?

Ruby: Noct, um... *shuffles her feet* do you wanna come back to my room?

Noctis: Oh sure. Maybe after the party?

Ruby: *shakes head* No. Now.

Noctis was confused af first but decided to follow her back to her team's dorm.

[Team RWBY's Dorm]

Noctis: Ruby, is everything okay?

Ruby: No, not really. *sighs* We've been in Atlas for over a month and you and I have barely spent any time together. All it's been is just mission after mission! We haven't been on a single date since we got here. Any time there's a night off, you're being dragged off by the guys, I'm being dragged off by the girls and I-

Noctis: *hugs* Hey! Easy there. *squeezes her tight* It's been hard for me too. I miss you so much. Our late night talks, our weapon modification time, cooking breakfast with you every morning. Everything we did back at Mistral was the most normal I've ever felt in a long time.

Ruby: Noct, I'm sorry. *holds him* I didn't mean to snap.

Noctis: *chuckles* Don't worry about it. Listen, we're alone right now. So... why not make the most of this time?

Ruby: Hm? *looks up* What do you mean?

Noctis: *takes out his scroll and plays I Want it that Way*

Ruby: Noct. *giggles*

Noctis: What? It's to help the atmosphere.

Ruby: You're so silly. Come here you. *wraps her arms around him*

Noctis: *wraps his arms around her*

As the song continued playing, both of them leaned in and gave a warm, loving kiss.

Outside the dorm, Yang, Jaune, Nora, Oscar and Blake were listening intently.

Nora: Awwww!!! Listen to those two. They're so sweet!

Yang: Relax, Oscar. We just came to make sure they're okay.

Jaune: And that mission is accomplished. Come on-

Yang, Jaune and Oscar's eyes widened in awkwardness and horror as they heard the sounds of thrusting, pounding and moaning. Nora and Blake, meanwhile, were having the time of their lives. They've never been so proud.

Yang: Okay, that's it! Let's go! *grabs Nora*

Jaune: *grabs Blake*

Ruby and Noctis held each other tight. The feel of his arms around her made Ruby feel safe. Her breathing slowed and her tears eased up.

"Um, Noctis?" She moved her head up to look at him. "C-Can you stay with me tonight? I-I really don't wanna be alone."

Noctis smiled warmly. "I know," he said, "That's why I invited them here,"

"Hm?" Ruby raised her eyebrow.

Noctis broke the hug and turned towards the door. "You can come in now," The door opened and Weiss, Yang and Blake all stepped inside the room, wearing their pyjamas and carrying a bottle of Taiyō sake. Ruby's mouth gaped wide open.

"W-What's going on?" she stuttered. Weiss chuckled at her friend's shock.

"Think of this like a little blast from the past." She said.

"Ruby, welcome to your sleepover," beamed Yang. Ruby blinked twice and a few small tears fell from her eyes.

"You all did this... for me?" she cried happily.

"Of course, Ruby," Blake said, holding both of her hands, "Remember what I said when we decided to go after the White Fang? We're all in this together. You're not just our leader, Ruby. You're our sister and we're not gonna let you die on our watch," Ruby embraced Blake tightly, while Yang and Weiss followed suit. Noctis grinned as he shut the door on his way out. He sighed deeply as the battle still played in his mind. Standing beside him was Jaune, arms folded.

"You think she's gonna be okay?" Jaune asked.

"It's hard to say," Noctis said, "Everyone deals with trauma differently," Jaune placed his hand on Noctis' shoulder.

Noctis: *stretching* Maaaaan~ Harriet gives one mean workout. *groans* I think that’s enough exercise for the day. Time to kick back and play some good old King’s Knight.

As soon he opened the door to his team’s dorm room, Noctis’s eyes popped. Laying on his bed was Ruby, wearing a silky, red gown. Her bare legs were smooth as marble. Ruby looked up at him and gave a lustful smirk. Noctis blushed beet red.

Noctis: R-R-R-Ruby!!

Ruby: Hi sweetie. How was your workout?

Noctis: Oh... you know, the usual. *nervous chuckling*

Ruby got up from the bed and undid her gown, letting it fall to the floor. Noctis’s face turned a deeper shade of red as he gazed upon her lacy, black lingerie. She moved closer and closer, making Noctis nervous. He moved further and further until his back hit the door. Ruby slowly raised her hand and gently caressed his cheek. The sensation sent tingles all over Noctis.

Ruby: *giggles* You’re cute when you’re nervous.

Noctis: *blushing* Uh.... umm....

Ruby: You’re so tense. Relax a little. *wraps her arms around him* Let all your worries melt away.

Before he could process anything even further, Noctis’s lips touched his girlfriend’s in a deep kiss. His hands moved to embrace her as their lips and tongues locked together. Ruby had never been this forward before, but it was a change that Noctis loved. The kissing became more aggressive, as if they were both fighting for control. Suddenly, Ruby raised his hands above the door and pinned them. Noctis gasped hard, breaking the kiss. Ruby’s eyes looked hungry and her smile looked more cheeky. She placed a small trail of kisses on Noctis’s neck, making him shudder with delight.

Noctis: Ahhh~

His moans made her giggle. Leaning in towards Noctis’s ear, she whispered to him.

Ruby: Noctis.

Noctis: *closes eyes*

Ruby: ...fuck me.

*BANG!*

Noctis: OW!!!! Wait- AHHHH!!!!!!

With a loud thud, Noctis fell out of the top bunk onto the floor. The commotion awoke his teammates, Prompto, Ignis and Gladio.

Prompto: Noct!!!

Ignis: Highness!!!

Gladio: Are you okay?!

Noctis: uhhhh..... ow. *slowly gets up* W-What happened?

Ignis: I think that’s something we should be asking you. How on remnant did you fall out of bed?

Noctis remembered the dream he was having. Oh boy, did he remember. He had to think of an excuse. Something, anything would be better than telling the guys what he actually dreamt about.

Noctis: Um.... well.... camping! Yes! I had a wonderful dream about camping!

He looked at his team, who now sported grins.

Gladio: So... you had a dream about camping?

Noctis: Y-Yes.

Ignis: *stifling laugh* Interesting.

Prompto: *snickering* T-That would explain the tent in your pants.

Noctis: Tent? What are you-

It was then that he realised what Prompto meant. Looking down, he saw that he had morning wood. He could hear more snickers from the guys and he blushed in embarrassment.

Noctis: Y-You guys saw nothing!!! *warps out the room*

They couldn’t take it anymore. Gladio, Prompto and Ignis all erupted with laughter.

[Tundra cafeteria]

At breakfast, RWBY, LAPS and ALPN all sat together munching on their pancakes. All except Noctis, who barely touched his food.

Nora: *mouthful* Are you gonna eat those?

Ren: *stern* Nora, no.

Noctis: I-It’s okay, Ren. She can have some. I-I’m not that hungry anyway.

Nora: Yay! *takes the pancakes*

Ruby: Noctis, what’s wrong?

Noctis: Agh!! Um...

Seeing Ruby right in front of him made him freeze up. There was no way in hell he could tell her about what happened. He’d die of shame. He tensed more when her hand touched his.

Noctis: *blushes*

Ruby: Noct?

Yang: Are you okay?

Noctis: ...*gets up* FISHING!!!

Everyone at the table turned to him at his sudden outburst, confused and even a little scared.

Noctis: Jaune, Ren, how would you like to go fishing today?

Jaune/Ren: Uh....

Noctis: Sounds great! In fact, let’s go now! *grabs their arms*

Ren: Aghhhhh!!!!!

Jaune: But I didn’t finish my breakfast!!!!!!

Weiss: ...okay, that was odd.

Yang: Seriously, what’s gotten into him?

Prompto: Well... *snickers* Let’s just say that something interesting happened to the Prince this morning.

Nora: Hm? Like what?

Prompto leaned in and whispered in Nora’s ear. When she heard what happened, she grinned from ear to ear.

Nora: Oh he didn’t!

Prompto: Oh he did!

Weiss: What? What did he do?

Nora: Noctis had a sex dream about Ruby!

Weiss: What?!

Yang: *spit take*

Blake: *smirks* Nice!

Oscar: ...I’m not hungry anymore.

Ruby: ...*deep blush*

Prompto: Okay, this is officially the best day ever! *laughs*

Nora: I second that!

Weiss: Enough! This is hardly civilised conversation! You’re making Ruby embarrassed.

Ruby: Noct, you dummy!!! *hides her face in her hood*

Blake: *comforts Ruby* Come on, it’s not that bad. Besides, it’s not like it’s a one way thing, you had plenty of sex dreams about him too.

The table went quiet at this revelation and all eyes fell upon Ruby and Blake.

Prompto: The plot thickens.

Nora: Like Ruby’s thighs.

Ruby: W-What? N-No I haven’t!

Blake: Of course you did. Just last week, you told me that Noctis was carrying you bridal style and then he put you on the bed, ripped off your clothes and then-

Ruby: *covers Blake’s mouth* Shut up!!! Shut up!!! Shut up!!!

The streets of Mantle were overrun with Akuma. Out of nowhere, a Warg lunged towards Ruby. Taking aim, she was about to fire, only to find that the Warg was already on the floor and Noctis stood triumphantly, sword in hand. Ruby gleefully smirked.

“Have I ever told you how hot I find you when you summon weapons?”

“You could always tell me more.” Noctis responded, earning a giggle from his girlfriend.

“If you guys could flirt less and give us a hand, that would be great!” Jaune grunted as he tried to hold back the pack.

"Yeah?" he replied, slicing an Akuma that lunged at him. A small blush appeared on Ruby's face. Taking a deep breath, she said the first thing that came to her head.

"I think you're hot with swords!!!!!"

Noctis stared in pure shock, sporting a blush of his own.

"Um, thanks?"

Realising what she just said, Ruby hid her face in her hood.

Noctis gulped hard. Was Ruby really suggesting what he thought?

"Ruby," Noctis said, breaking the hug. "I-I know you've been through a pretty traumatic event and you feel like life's precious and all... but I don't think this is the right time. I mean, you just recovered, it's bit too soon to want to-"

His rambling was interrupted when Ruby flicked him hard on the forehead.

"Ow!"

"I didn't mean like that, dummy!" Ruby yelped, blushing mad like a tomato. "I meant we just get in the bed together and sleep!"
