Thank you for the question, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get to it!

I'll answer all for Blood and Water, as these are the most fleshed-out characters.

🌈 RAINBOW — what is your oc's sexual orientation/gender identity? what pronouns do they use?

All my characters in every story I write are some flavour queer unless otherwise stated.

Braddik is a gay cis man

Elenia is a cis lesbian

Retruk is an asexual agender person (well, goblins don't really have any concept of gender so saying "agender" is still kind of... not really the case because it still presupposes a system of gender that just makes zero sense to the orcish, but that's as close as we'd get to it in our language)

🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?

Oooh good question! I had never thought of this.

Braddik is a nerd so his main hobby is working on smithing projects but for himself. His magical ability is also to always make tasty food no matter what shit ingredients he has to cook with, so this is something he enjoys, too

Elenia would probably secretly write beautiful romantic poems but would likely not mention this to anyone, although she'd fully own it if they found out

Retruk's is also cooking, although they don't have the magical power Braddik does (theirs are much more flashy). Retruk is very nurturing so I feel this makes sense for them

I'll do this for Braddik alone; otherwise, this post will get long. Some of these facts become apparent in the novel's prose but haven't been shared in much detail at all on here.

He has paranoia—and not in the sense of anxiety, as in actual psychosis

He can't grow a beard—odd for a dwarf

3. How did your oc discover themself? Did something cause them to question, or did they always know?

Javier knew pretty much out of the gate he was trans and wanted to change his name and wear boy clothes. And his family was pretty supportive of him up until they all got separated.

Carter was sort of like. In limbo with her family before the murders. She was wearing girl clothes and basically living publicly as a girl, but they hadn't really talked about it. It was just sort of hanging in the air, and then her moms were killed and they never got closure. The Ranch certainly did not help anything.

I feel like Peter had a really hard time because Alastair tried to sabotage him at every turn because he's a creep. He and Javier had to sneak around to get Peter the stuff he needed. But once they got out of Necropolis it was a lot better.

On the sexuality front, I feel like it took them a while to figure out they were bi. Because of the like "Do I want them or do I want to be them" experience, but also because it's really hard to figure out who you are when you're being treated like a lab rat in a sadistic torture maze.

6. How does your oc feel about labels? Theirs, or in general?

Carter is firmly a woman, and Peter is firmly a man. Javier uses he/him, but he's probably nb masc. He's just as fine with they/them as he is with he/him as long they don't refer to him as feminine.

12. Does/did your oc ever wish they could change the way they are? Why? If it's in the past, how did they get over the feeling? (this can be about internalized homo/transphobia)

I think for Peter, his dysphoria was a lot worse than Javier's (Javier got on t, and he was happy with that) and tried to alleviate it as much as he could under the circumstances.
