soleil: it's been crickets on campus, you must know something

THE SOUND OF WHEELS ON TILED FLOORS makes her presence known to anyone in the halls. “ morning !! ” soleil hums to the lobby of familiar faces as she skates past. the whirlwind girl makes a brief stop, plopping an otherwise untouched cup of coffee beside noah, an unmistakable smile crossing her features. a dainty hand raises, “ keep your money. beto over at starbucks came through and gave me the second one free. so congrats, you’re the lucky winner. ” quite the brag, the redhead lifts her own cup in a makeshift cheers. soleil soon pushes off from her spot to plop down right beside him, quickly slipping off her skates to change into proper shoes. “ i was listening to bon iver and pinegrove all day yesterday, so needless to say, i’m tired of listening to people whine. what’re you working on today ?? ”

cam: u know sometimes i think my parents just send me her to get rid of me. cam: as if they are ashamed or something.
