for @ardent-fox's lovely prompt, let me, that made me think abt sacrificial ian

It's crazy, zealous, and impulsive. But that's not stopping Ian.

Mickey clenches his teeth. He yanks his arm away from Ian to no use. Ian's grip on his arm is firm.

"Let go!" Mickey bawls, fresh tears replacing ones that have already dried.

Ian only looks at him with storms brewing behind his eyes.

"God, I can't…I can't lose you. How can you even be sure that this will work?"

"I can't. But…"

"Have you ever considered how it'll make me feel?"

Ian repeats, his tone indisputable. 'Let me."

Inspired with everything Ian and Mickey do for one another and all the ways they explore each other's boundaries, my prompt shall be
