my first @galladrabbles 🤯 the moment i saw this week's prompt by @thepupperino, i got so inspired. i love the mind control trope. set in a fantasy-like au, the circumstances are vague on purpose :D
A voice speaks with Mickey's face. His signature glare's there, but his smirk's unsettling. "What's wrong, Ian?"
His mind's intact, but his heart cries at having to fight his husband.
He trusts his gut and extends a foot.
Before he can move, Mickey's face whispers, "Honey, what makes you say that?"
Ian flinches. "You haven't called me 'Gallagher' once."
Mickey's cerulean eyes surface, as if they're calling out to him. "Ian..." it says.
Coming as fast as it went, the snark returns.
Ian knows those eyes anywhere. Because when you love someone with blue eyes, that's all you know.
