V laughed to himself. He did not realize that not everyone shared his parched sense of humor. It seems not everyone realized that humor of Infant Joy—a favorite of V’s when first meeting new people.

"Hey, El, ya sure this is the place? Its too dark fer me ta' see anythin'." Maxi turned off the engine and squinted into the endless darkness beyond the window.

“So here’s the plan: We turn anyone who litters or pollutes into trees. Think about it; I’m captain planet and you’re...whoever you are.”

“Woah, Noct. You serious? You better not be joking around. Depression is some serious business—especially if you’re gonna be king soon.” Gladiolus set down his cup of noodle, something nothing could make him do until this moment. 

He got up and moved next to Noctis, placing a callous and coarse hand on his shoulder. “I don’t know much about depression but it’s my job to protect you, even from thing we can’t see. Got it?”

SNAKE set down the controller to the Famicom down gently. He unfolded his legs and looked at Lon’qu who had been spectating him playing Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Seemingly annoyed from losing his three lives.

“I know that I can die multiple times in game and I’ve got one life to live but there’s something you seem to forgetting, ‘qu.” Snake got up and went to retrieve the tool most prominent companion in life or death situations. The almighty cardboard box.

“This has gotten more life or death situations more times than I can count. When I have one of these I don’t have to worry about dying at all. 

…

If you don’t believe me we can both get in the box so you can understand just how effecting it is.”

They moved as fast as vipers and squeezed his neck tighter than any pair of boa constrictors. Any word which was attempted to be spoken only came out as raspy coughs and caused unnecessary strain on his already tightening throat. Joseph felt the muscles in his neck twitch and he was nowhere near close to giving up this easily. Never would he tap out.

“(This keeps then I’ll be a goner! Caeser might have the strength in his thighs but I still have one secret weapon!)” Joseph took took (or rather tried) to take in a deep breath as he gently touched his finger tips to the muscular thighs. “(Just...a little...more..! Come on, Joseph!)” He spider-walked with his fingers and found the crevasse he was looking for.

In one swift motion the stuck his fingers inside and began to tickle them, moving them like he was burying his fingers in dirt. 

Death comes for us all in one way or another. Kain knew this better than most as he rejected the role which was destined for him, and as a result altered the flow of his fate and, ultimately, changing his own death. He awoke in the realm of the dead, observing his surroundings and noting that he was still with flesh.

Beside him was a shade which seemed...more docile than the rest. There would be no harm in conversing with this specter. Confidently he approached, keeping his distance.

“You seem to still have your wits about you, still not as ravenous or vile as the others trapped here. I seek a way out of here; and you’re going to help me—unless you prefer the company of your new kin.” His words were laced with deceit—a part of him which never faded.

“It’s three o’clock in the morning, and you woke me up just to tell me that. Is this what you think about this late?” Guts wiped the sleep from his eye and looked at the clock. If he fell right back to sleep he could grab a couple more hours of sleep.

Alas, his curiosity got the best of him.

“I think you would be able to tell if it were to fall off.”
