The prompt is ‘Midnight’ 🕛

I thought the Wikipedia entry for this word is interesting - Midnight is the transition time from one day to the next – the moment when the date changes. Solar midnight is the time opposite to solar noon, when the Sun is closest to the nadir, and the night is equidistant from sunset and sunrise. Due to the advent of time zones, which regularize time across a range of meridians, and daylight saving time, solar midnight rarely coincides with 12 midnight on the clock. In some Slavic languages, "midnight" has an additional geographic association with "north".

Viviette circled them, pointing. “How long has this coquetry been going on?”

She'd overheard everything. Denial was impossible. Ian spoke proudly. “It started with a midnight meetup at the ball.”

“I thought you were pursuing my family’s plum empire. Turns out you’re more of a bratwurst man.”

Ian shifted to leave. “Forget about me. We'll be gone posthaste.” 

Viviette blocked him. “Marriage to me is that revolting?”

“I can't be with Mickey if I'm shackled to you.”

The Sellsword and the Mage, Part 67:

“Even good people make mistakes.”

“What the fuck ever, Ian.” Mickey kicks the heel of his boot against the tree trunk. “Haven’t I put up with enough magic bullshit without you dragging me to the center of magic bullshit?”

Ian’s entire body freezes. Magic bullshit. How long has Mickey felt this way?

The last thing Ian wants is to push Mickey away.

“Okay,” Ian begins to pace. “By midnight, Fiona will have soldiers out making sure we’ve crossed out of the Southern Kingdom. Let’s just focus on that, for now.”

“And then?”
