Today’s Pasta. Cupping on the back is over in Onehunga so Uncle is looking forward to have lunch at No. 117 Cafe on Trafalgar Street. When he tells Jane he’s thinking of having the Pasta of the Day again, she’s worried and thinks Uncle might not like it. Last week, it was the double cheese spaghetti, so rich he had to stop at Cornwall Park on the way home and find a shady spot to lie down; like the proverbial python in Sarawak that has just ”eaten” a whole chicken. But he disgresses; today’s pasta is spaghetti, served with chicken & mushroom. Jane says she tell Chef John to hold the cream. That does the trick; the dish is fresh and the microgreens spot 2 edible flowers (nasturtiums).
