No-IP 是一家非常大的 DDNS 服務提供商 (本文不介紹 DDNS 服務)，因為有附帶提供免費子網域，所以阿豪這篇文章將介紹子網域註冊及使用的部分。阿豪之前有介紹「Freenom」這個免費頂級網域註冊平台，但因為續約必須付費，且常常被封鎖等問題，所以阿豪又另行介紹了這個服務，讓各位架站新手有更多選擇。
No-IP 帳號及子網域名稱註冊
網站網址: www.noip.com
1. 首先請打開 No-IP 首頁，點右上角的「Sign up」按鈕進行註冊。
2. 上面請填寫 Email 跟帳號、密碼，「Hostname」的部分就是子網域的名稱，當然之後還可以額外新增，這裡可以先選一個。
3. 拉到下面後，請點「Free Sign Up」送出註冊。
4. 看到這個頁面後，請直接關閉並到信箱收驗證信。
5. 到信先點「Activate Account」激活帳號。
6. 激活後會跳出這個提示視窗，請直接關閉提示視窗即可。
7. 關閉提示視窗後，會看到左下方有一個水藍色的「Manage My Host Now」按鈕，請點它進入網域管理頁面。
8. 您可以對想修改的網域名稱點「Modify」。
9. 「IP Address」欄位就是對應的 IP 地址，修改後儲存即可，很快就生效了。

Anfrage: Ich möchte gerne eine Subdomain auf meinen privaten Internetanschluss mit dynamischer IP-Adressen zeigen lassen, damit ich auf mein NAS von überall aus mit eigenem Domainnamen zugreifen kann.
Lösung: Wenn du z.B. "server.onlinehelp24.net" auf dein NAS Gerät zu Hause zeigen lassen möchtest und dein Provider täglich die IP-Adresse wechselt, musst du folgendes konfigurieren.
- Einen dynamischen Hostnamen anlegen, z.B. "server.ddns.net" (bei No-IP gibt's 3 Hostnamen kostenlos)- Auf deinem Router zu Hause den DynClient z.B. in der FritzBox oder dem Speedport Router konfigurieren
Jetzt könntest du schon via "server.ddns.net" auf dein NAS zugreifen. Wenn du aber über die Subdomain gehen möchtest, ist noch folgender Schritt notwendig.
- Beim DNS Provider deiner Domain anmelden- "server.onlinehelp24.net" als CNAME auf "server.ddns.net" eintragen - speichern und eine Weile warten bis die DNS Einstellungen aktualisiert wurden
Nun kannst du via "server.onlinehelp24.net" auf dein NAS per eigener Subdomain zugreifen.
P.S. Das entsprechende Port Forwarding im Router natürlich nicht vergessen, z.B. 443 für HTTPS oder 22 für SSH.
Afteer reading the article I'm very worried about internet because a company decided to take (and obtained) control of some domains of another company without letting them to even know.
I understand problems that Microsoft has fighting against spammers/bots/etc but the only possible solution (even if they are not able to achieve it) is to write a better code with less bugs.
No-IP is not a group of hackers with the mission to fight, they are a classic company (in the past they worked even with Microsoft) which provide a service (a DNS service).
After reading the article I thought: Ok, I'm receiving so many spam from hotmail domains, so Microsoft is not able to manage it, I can take control of hotmail.com because of it. Doesn't it sound super-dangerous and super-bully?
Another reason to don't buy microsoft's software (no worry MS, I don't buy it by so long due the incredible amount of bugs you put into it)

Using noip.com dynamic dns with Untangle (debian linux no-ip update client)

You’ll need to access the Untangle command line interface (CLI) from the Untangle Dashboard (not the web interface!) or via SSH to follow the following steps.
1) Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list and add the following line

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ sarge main contrib non-free
2) at the terminal do apt-get update
3) then apt-get install no-ip
4) When that is finished do no-ip -C and enter your no-ip account information at the prompts.
5) Then do /etc/init.d/no-ip start
I just did it to test and it worked.
Be sure to remove the added line in step 1 from your /etc/apt/sources.list when you are finished.
