So do you not have a kitchen right now? What do you eat? :D
Our kitchen will arrive on August 15th - so no kitchen since moving in (end of June) until then. Luckily my sisterās brought her refrigerator when she moved in today, so I can finally buy fresh food again which I donāt have to eat right away.
So far Iāve lived off stuff from the bakery, fast food/takeaway (for you Germans out there: Nordsee, Immergrün, Dƶner and the likes), prepared sandwiches from supermarkets and sometimes restaurants. My workplace has a canteen where I get my lunch which is great because I get at least one warm meal a day and itās fairly cheap.

No Kitchen Eating
Itās actually going pretty well! Iāve been having my oatmeal like normal. Yesterday we had hotdogs for lunch with pretzels on the side, and we had chili for dinner. Today we had grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches (thanks tiny grill) and then beef stew with crackers for dinner -- capped off with a mandarin orange fruit cup! Iāve been snacking on pretzels, apples, and cheerios. Iāve also been pretty faithful about getting tons of water.
Is it ideal? No. Is it working? Yes. :)
Already was down to 241.2 this morning from 242 post road-trip, so weāll just keep it going!
We have acquiredĀ food!
For those of you who donāt know, Iām living without a full kitchen for the month of June. We just got back from the Walmart a few towns over, and we have now equipped ourselves with food that only requires a small George Foreman grill or microwave. (We decided to ditch the crock pot at the last minute.)Ā
We have an assortment of canned goods (veggies, fruits, chilli, beans, soups), hotdogs, tuna, crackers, bread, PB, and honey. Weāve also still got my pre-packaged snacks (cheerios, pretzels, popcorn) and fruit (bananas and apples). We should be good, but I think Iām going to up my water intake goal to combat the canned goods sodium levels. I usually shoot for 72 oz, but maybe Iāll go for 96 oz now (4 water bottles).Ā
