Five years, already?? Yes, we have decided to host nntweek for the fifth year in a row, and we are excited!

This year’s NNT Week will begin on Sunday, October 20 and end on Saturday, October 26. As a reminder, the themes are merely a suggestion and you are free to use one, both, or none of the themes. They are a means for inspiration, not stress.

The themes for this year are:

I loved the first season of NNT. I saw it on Netflix and from the hints, I knew something more was going on. I loved the reveals (Nakaba’s way of going against expectation) and the abilities of the sins but I fell in love with the show when Elizabeth Liones took a beating to bite the bell off of Ruin’s staff. Of course, everything up to that is amazing (the first episodes being the best imo) but this moment hooked me. Sadly, it only hooked me enough to mark when Season 2 was going to be released on my phone.

My obsession didn’t fully take root until after I binged Season 2 on Netflix (so Oct. 2018- it’s basically my fandom-anniversary). I liked Season 2, but it didn’t satisfy me like Season 1 did so I finally turned to the manga to figure out just what was happening. (If I remember right I started reading around the Mael/Esta arc?) This dissatisfaction led me to the most epic Melizabeth reveal and sparked my utter obsession with all things Meliodas and Elizabeth. (I shipped them already but the need to create for them was born in the manga).

This got me writing again after years of not. A gift I am so grateful for.

After I posted my first NNT fanfiction, I started making friends, I made a Tumblr and more trickled in. I had only been a part of massive fandoms before and because this one is smaller it is different in the best of ways (mostly). I joined the @creators-anonymous Discord in March of 2019 and have made some of the best friends I’ve ever had through our shared theories and love for NNT. We encourage each other, help when we can, and talk almost constantly. It has been one of the best things in my life for a few months now as I truly think I would have been done writing without their encouragement.
