the texting thing really isn't my own invention, i have to give credit where it's due! here is the guide i used to set up an iOS work skin on ao3, it's pretty simple html and if a complete coding greenie like me can figure it out then anybody can 🙏

And you’ll come home to an empty dark house that once was home. You’ll think you have it all at last. Till it’s time for dinner and you have to sit there all alone. No one to sit across from you and ask about your day or have a fresh cooked meal.
You’ll go to sleep talking to people on the phone, thinking this is the life. Till it’s time to close your eyes and the bed feels a little colder. You’ll wake up at 3 am to get ready for work. Eager to leave the house. But there’s no one to say goodbye to or someone to give you your blessing.
Once your off of work, you’ll be excited to do something after. Get a few drinks, hear a couple of laughs. But then you’ll drive home feeling a little empty. There’s no one in the driveway. All the lights inside are off. And you’ll sit there staring. Remembering every little thing. Cause now all you see is a house, where once there was a home.
