this is the Peregrine, one of my favorite ships that I've built in No Man's Sky! It's based on the Raptor(also pictured) which was an evolution of my very first corvette, though the Peregrine sacrifices a spacious interior and living area for a sleeker hull designed for ship to ship combat and tighter maneuvering. It's the primary ship I use for carrying out combat missions, and its smaller interior and sleeker build make it great for patrols where I need to get out frequently to narrow down the direction of a target.

and this is the most comparable version of the Raptor, its progenitor.

Did a smaller corvette build here! 2 habs and heavy prioritization of maneuverability (there are multiple ship cores hidden away in this bad boy hahahah).

AND i glitched the pink/natural stone coloration onto it because I think it looks neat.

The cockpit is hidden away between the two "shells" of the ship, granting it the lovely name:
