Nkengas - Jungle Funk
Nkengas were formed in 1973 in Nigeria by members of Fela's Africa 70 and Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe & His Nigeria Sound Makers International. They call their style "Ikwokilikwo", meaning something like "cooking" and refers to american heavy jazz and rock music (usually used for soundcheck). This song was released in 1974 in the UK as a 7".
