Nitro cold brew coffee on tap is a smooth and velvety coffee experience with a delightful cascade effect and a creamy mouthfeel. It's perfect for those who appreciate the bold flavor of cold brew coffee with a touch of nitrogen-infused magic.
Ingredients: 2 cups of coarsely ground coffee beans. 8 cups of cold filtered water. Nitrogen gas canister. Keg with tap system. Ice optional. Sweetener or milk optional.
Instructions: In a large pitcher or container, mix the coarsely ground coffee beans with the cold filtered water. Cover, stir well to make sure everything is evenly saturated, and put in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours to steep. The cold brew concentrate should be strained through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into a clean container after it has been brewed. Get the cold brew concentrate and put it in a keg. Leave some room at the top for the nitrogen gas. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to connect the nitrogen gas canister to the keg. Then, add nitrogen to the cold brew. To get the nitrogen to mix with the cold brew, gently shake the keg. After this, the cold brew should be smooth and foamy. You can connect the tap to the keg and pour the nitro cold brew into a glass with ice if you want to. If you'd like, you can add milk or sugar. Enjoy!
