「  HIATUS NOTICE 」

hello everyone — there is no easy way to do this, but with heavy hearts, we have decided to put NISKRP on an INDEFINITE HIATUS. 

this might be sudden with how things have been evolving lately, and we genuinely apologize to all of you who we have let down. both of us have been talking about the future of the roleplay for the last couple of days, and after thinking long and hard, we genuinely think a break from it would be the best for all of us. with the lack of new interest and the current stagnation as you may have noticed, we’ve come to the realization that implementing new systems and mission protocols would only complicate the issue further and drive our members away. it was a difficult decision to agree to take a step back for the time being, but we think it is for the best.

however, we don’t want this to be a sad goodbye! we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. thank you to every one of you who have sent us a message, encouraged us with your kind words; those of you who applied and brought us amazing stories to read, we thank you. all and every one of your amazing characters and yourselves have brought a huge amount of joy to us and made us proud of the community we have created together. and we want to say that this isn’t necessarily an ending, but a long pause. we will keep the main intact, the ooc blog and the discord server will stand for those of you who wish to find each other and keep in contact. all of you are more than welcome to continue writing either on the dash, or wherever your hearts desire. they are your original characters after all, and we will be delighted to know that they are living on.

when it comes to the future of the roleplay, we simply don’t know yet. it is entirely possible that we will return to you in the future, with new plans and prospects, intrigue and hopefully excitement. our hearts are still full of love for NIS, but when we return, we promise to have learned from this experience and did our best to make it an even better version for our members.

and finally, before we ramble on any further, we just want to say that even if we don’t return anytime soon, we will look back to our time here with fond memories. we genuinely hope that you have also had a good experience here, and this will be a community that you will remember fondly! once again, thank you all — and for the time being, goodbye! please take care, you are all marvelous writers and lovely people!

hello everyone! we will be sending personalized prompts to your characters throughout the evening and tomorrow, so please make sure your SUBMISSIONS are open. you are highly encouraged to answer all of the questions that have been sent to you, but the format is completely up to you; direct and short answers, small flashbacks relating to the questions etc, we leave that up to your interpretation as long as they are answered in character. OOC explanation will accompany the prompts, but if you have any questions at all, feel free to reach us. we will do our best to send them to you soon, and we hope you will like them!

to celebrate our ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY, we wanted to give our members a template they could play with and use to delve into their characters more! you only need the font GULIM, which you can download right HERE. hopefully the directions on the layers will help you, but if you run into any problems at all, let us know and we’ll be happy to help. we’ve also included some resources for character exploration below if you need some extra help! without further ado, you can download the psd right HERE — we can’t wait to see your creations and we hope you will like it!

hello everyone! as the week of grace has been officially over and we have just had our activity check, both of the admins decided to make two main changes to the activity clause to ensure a more active community! you can find the details on our CODE OF CONDUCT, but for your ease, here are the amendments as they follow:

one — activity checks will be now conducted TWICE a week on wednesdays and fridays. people who are not active for FIVE DAYS will receive a warning, and will have TWO DAYS to either make a post or send a message to the main. 

two — a THREE STRIKES system will be implemented after this activity check. every time a character is on the activity check, they will receive a STRIKE. three strikes mean removal from the roleplay without the two day grace. the players will need to re-apply. we are always lenient with hiatuses, so please let us know if you can’t post for five days or more.
