For Halona, I really like the explore sub-theme I gave her when I did the Chandra M19 inspired set since it represented her origin story of sailing and exploring. I think for her creature side, it'd keep track of every land she explores to a max of 3, probably using the noting system like Long List of the Ents. I'm not sure what would trigger the flip, probably when she sees a land on exploring, but after she flips she gains more loyalty for each land she explored and maybe draws for each +1/+1 counter (or tutors for an aura based on the number of counters) she had when she flips.

For Nireta, I made most of one, but I'm not sure I ever posted it. She'd be a 1/2 for UB flier with "Tap: Put a scavenge counter on her and draw a card." and "An opponent could put two counters on her and have a creature they control fight her. Only opponents may activate this ability, and only as a sorcery." If she would die with any scavenge counters on her, she'd flip and come in with that many loyalty. I like how it worked in her plundering and eventual near-death igniting. I didn't have any real notes for her back half though.

We headed down the thoroughfares until we arrived at the Kicked Barrel. It is a kind of hole in the wall place that looks rough around the edges but has food better than some spire loft eateries. As we went in, we were seated at one of the small booths. I sat across from the two, Halona brimming and Nireta looking like a mother regretting letting her child make the decisions. We ordered dinner and began talking. I loved getting to hear of the planes that Halona has visited and the diversity of their communities. Once we had gotten our drinks, Nireta and I hit it off by talking about Meletian philosophy. The evening continued to improve until the meal was served. A man sitting at the bar had gotten up and approached our booth. In his drunken form he angrily pointed and yelled, "why'sa that Simic eating herea!" Nireta tensed and gritted through her teeth, "I am not a Simic experiment!" As it looked the man was going to retort, I cast a calming emotion spell laced in my words towards the man. "You need to calm down, friend. We all want to enjoy this evening's meal. Go enjoy your bombat." The man looked back at the bar and stumbled back to the bar. Nireta looked surprised. Halona had a face of astonishment. "I guess you haven't seen my music. I specialize in emotions," I said as I bit into a chicken leg. "Why did you defend me? When you barely know me?," Nireta inquired. "Well, I guess I don't like when people are picked on for no good reason," I said as I wiped my hands on a napkin. We finished our meal and paid at the front desk. As we were beginning to go our separate ways, I heard Halona yell, "Nice to meet you Theren, hope to meet with you again soon!" Then to my surprise Nireta echoed Halona's words stating, "it was a pleasure Theren, I hope to see you again as well." I responded saying, "Farewell my new friends. May Karametra bless you until we meet again!"
