New blog theme. I don’t know if you guys can tell but it’s just a bunch of recycled old blog themes that I jam packed into a new blog theme. All pages have been updated along with the release of some revamped themes. Commissions are still closed though, currently working on a huge commission for someone.
Coding wise, this was a pretty easy theme to code, it was just the alignment for photosets and captions that really held me up. (I’ll probably end up redesigning it later on). As you guys can tell I love geometric shapes in web design so I really wanted to incorporate them everywhere.
Scrolling snaps each post into view. For the life of me I cannot get texts to truncate properly so I have given up.
The theme still feature the legends: Wonder Girls. I didn’t want to stick with the peach color scheme so I tried to add some dark backgrounds throughout the theme.
Biggest inspiration comes from Vasjen Katro. I love all his work and he’s my favorite designer. As you guys can tell he obviously inspired me, especially his latest project: Baugasm.
Note: colorful geometric shapes were made by me and mono-color: subtle patterns. HUGE thanks to Kelly from shythemes for helping with the slideshow photosets.
(I took a lot of coding shortcuts but I’m impatient and it’ll probably bite me in the ass later. I like the support page more than the main blog theme)
