They lose the Oni within a day.
It’s not Kai’s fault, actually. He’s trying and failing to catch some shuteye now that his watch is up, scowling up at the ceiling and feeling intermittently for his blaster, when another alarm rouses him suddenly to his feet.
thinking about idea where Kai can actually. be alive in lava. he can swim in it, too. he doesn’t know this because y know. WHY WOULD HE. anyways in one of them-running-away-from-lava-catching-up-to-tjem Kai slips. or WAIT. even more fun. jay slips, and he’s like Panicing and Kai just moves and tries to grab his hand and pull him. he succeeds but oh no, guess what. Kai is the one with lava RIGHT behind him and it’s too late. the others watch in horror and Kai is enveloped in lava but THEY CANT DO ANYTHINB BUT RUN UNLESS THEY TOO ARE LAVA FOOD —
anyways, cue. the team in horrid silence after they escape, because kai. just got.
wait even more fun: they leave in their vehicles and kai who jsut learned he can SURVIVE IN LAVA WHAT THE FCK manages to get himslef out. he yeah. he finds himself stranded because <3 they left and the coms he had on him. or all of his clothes, for that matter. yeah they all fried
and on the hand other, we have the ninja at home dealing with loosing him and jay dealing with the fact that it was his fault the stupid rock that made him fall and if he didn’t — then Kai wouldn’t — NYA…. LOOSING HER BROYEJR……. THE ONE PERSON SHES BEEN WITJ SINDE LIKE. EVER. oh man yeah everyone is Going thro it. meanwhile Kai is having his own adventure of trying to get home, but he’s lost and without food and trying to make some makeshift clothes and yeah. he’s learned that he can survive in lava but everyone is gone and he’s like. miles&miles away from home heh even fun if the place hes in. has like monsters.
WOW THIS IS SUJC A FUN IDEA…!!!!!!!!
also consider. kai that loses his “master of fire” powers who cant survive in lava anymore. who FORGETS THIS. and yeah. he doesn’t die but like suffers terrible burns/injuries I guess.
