Nils hummed to himself as skipped around, turning to skip backwards every so often. He knew it was a bad idea when he bumped into someone. It took a minute for him to realize that the sudden extreme heat seeping through his clothes and on the bits of skin it got to was coffee.
His hands shook just a bit from the pain. The heat would have been bad had he been a normal human, but being an ICE dragon definitely made it worse. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head at the question.
“No. Not okay. This is very hot….and very not good…” He could feel himself tearing up. “Do you have a towel so I can get it off? I need to get it off!”
That mumble in pain did not sound very pleasant. From the way the child was at the verge of tears, shuttering in agony told the Troubadour this kid wasn’t in a healthy position. He knew his coffee was hot, but he didn’t expect it to be this hot. Well, considering it wasn’t burning him as much.
“Hold on. You’ll need some salve too.”
He’d rather not run, but he’d do anything for a patient. And now, the kid needed to be treated. Sprinting, Dwyer made haste to fetch his things. Returning a few minutes later with a towel, medical cream, and a dry throat.
He couldn’t complain now.
Approaching, he handed the towel to Nils. With a faint smile, he tried to keep the other calm. The salve was in hand.
“It’ll be alright... Now tell me where it burns.”
