“Stop it.”

“Stop what?”

Isagi could almost feel the shit-eating grin on his boyfriend’s lips and he tried his best not to look at him as he took his seat at the aisle. (Niko liked the window seat and Isagi cared too little about plane seats and too much about Niko to fight him over it.) “Stop looking at me like that.”

“I’m sorry.”

“You’re not sorry.”

“Right, I’m not sorry. That was too funny.”

Isagi felt his face heat up at the embarrassing memory of the airport security patdown and him squealing in front of a waiting line of roughly thirty people when his ribs were touched. The small smile on the guy’s face, which he had probably meant to be reassuring (“Don’t worry, happens every day.”) but which had only furthered his embarrassment. And Niko snickering behind him had really been anything but helpful.

He let out a soft squeak when a finger poked his side and turned to his boyfriend with flushed cheeks. “Don’t.”

“But you’re so ticklish, it’s so cute.”

“There are people here!” Isagi hissed, but Niko just shrugged.

“They should all see how cute and ticklish you are.”

Oh that little- 

“AIEE! Ihisahahagihi, nohoho!”

“No?” Isagi grabbed Niko’s wrist and pulled it down while his other hand continued to scribble and pinch at the soft, pale skin of the younger boy’s neck. “But I want to show everyone how cute and ticklish you are.”

“Dohohon’t uhuse my own wohords agahai- nahahaha! Dohohon’t!” Niko clasped a hand in front of his mouth and tried to protect himself by tilting his head. Unfortunately that only resulted in the tickling fingers getting trapped.

“Sorry, you said it so well.” Isagi grinned as he continued to wiggle his fingers. Niko was now squirming around in his seat, sinking deeper and deeper into the cushions as if he could somehow escape by becoming one with the backrest. His hair had fallen to the side and revealed that his eyes were squeezed shut and a few tears were pricking at their corners. Alright, maybe he could be a little merciful. “Do you want me to stop?”

“Yehehehes!”

“Do you really want me to stop?” And then, just for the heck of it and to see that adorable blush; “Even though you’re so cute and ticklish?”

“Yohoihihichi, plehehehease!”

“Fine.” Isagi chuckled softly and took his fingers away, instead caressing Niko’s hair to help him calm down and handing him a bottle of water. “Just because I feel good today.”

Niko took a moment to calm down before he half-heartedly glared at him. “You’re so lucky I love you.”

Isagi just grinned and gave him a kiss on the cheek, enjoying the return of the blush. “Next time you make fun of me, just remember I know your death spot.”

i look at him and i just know he can't handle the cold and whenever he complains about "freezing to death" at completely reasonable temperatures, hoping to get cuddles, isagi tickles him instead to warm him up. niko will go out of his way to claim he hates it but they both know he doesn't

“I’m gonna freeze to death!” Niko curled his arms tightly around himself, tugging his borrowed hoodie closer to his body. “They’ll find a Niko shaped popsicle by the end of the day if the day doesn’t get any warmer!”

“It’s not that bad, babe.” Isagi, who was now jacketless, looked back at his dramatic boyfriend with a soft sigh. “If anything, it’s rather hot out.”

“That’s because you’re built like a furnace! I bet when you were born your incubator was actually a witch's oven!” Niko shivered, huddling closer to his boyfriend.

“Hm. Probably why I’m so hot, right?” Isagi grinned, earning an eye roll from the other. Of course, he couldn’t see it with all that fluffy black hair in the way, but Isagi could tell whenever Niko reacted to something.

Like how he could tell his boyfriend right now was fishing for cuddles.

It was so obvious Isagi couldn’t help but tease him a little.

“Whatever- I’m still cold though. They must have left mine in the freezer.” Niko grumbled, slowly shuffling closer until he was all but bumping into Isagi. “I could really use some warmth right now…”

“We can go get hot tea?” Isagi suggested, earning a mild pout. “Or- I know! Let’s go get ramen! That’ll warm you up, right?”

Niko’s pout deepened, and Isagi laughed as he brought an arm around his waist, pulling him into his side. “Now now, no pouting.” Fingers raced up the younger boy’s waist, making him jump and squeak. “I’m gonna warm you up now, okay?”

“Aieeee! Aheheheehheehhe! Thahahahhat’s not whahhahat I meahhahhant!” Niko squeaked, squirming and giggling against Isagi’s hands. “Ihihihihiihisagihiihihihi!”

“Aww, look how red you are! It’s working!” Isagi laughed, pinching along the soft spots of Niko’s waist, making him flail with a squeal. “You already look warmer!”

“Iihihihiihihihisagihihiihihihihi!” Niko cried, swatting at his boyfriend’s chest, tears dotting his eyes. “Yoohoohoohorichi stahhahhap!”

“Pfft- okay okay.” Isagi cackled, delighted in hearing his first name. Niko gasped for air, leaning into Isagi’s side as he struggled to recover. “Yohohohu suck! I…ehehehe…hahahhated that.” He groaned, even as he melted against Isagi- the other rubbing soothing circles against his back.

“Sure you did, Ikki.” Isagi kissed his flushed cheek, pulling him along. “Come on- let’s go get that ramen you wanted.”

“You mean that YOU wanted?”

“Shhhh~”
