Because Karen Carpenter's voice is exactly what peace and sweet love and melancholy sound like.
Because my Dad used to play this record alot when I was a kid and it brings back happy memories of him (which is good cause i’m still getting over the “Fathers Day sucks when your dad is deceased" blues).
And also because this song makes me smile the same way @soulsistrin’s random ass stream of consciousness posts do and warms my heart the way @therealwolfqueen’s selfie video rambles do every time ☺️
