hi all! I wanted to announce that the first ever Nikki game now has a wiki, hosted on Miraheze! ever since it was taken off the app stores, it made me sad that most people will never be able to play this game. about a month ago, my friend valaerys (a moderator at the Infinity Nikki wiki) and I (an admin at the Love Nikki wiki) took a look at the game and decided it would be a fun side project. so, our archival project began and now you can learn all about the game even past its EOS, even the things you never knew you wanted to know.
featuring all item descriptions (both chinese and english, since the english translation is extremely questionable at times), all scoring info, and all stages! this wiki is not 100% complete, as I still have a few minor things to add and character details to flesh out, but I wanted to put it out in the world for any feedback. also, this wiki is 100% focused on the first game only, SO, don't expect to see any denial that Momo is a cat, stuff about Miraland, or any Giftys. okay, I lied, there's one Gifty.
you CAN still play this game, if you have the apk, or if you already have it installed. the wiki doesn't host the apk, but if you do want to play, I hope it can help you in your journey!
note that Google has not really done a good job at indexing our pages yet, but I am hoping that posting about it (and linking to it from other sites) will help :) also, if you happen to notice anything wrong or missing, feel free to edit or just let me know! most of the spelling/grammar mistakes are on the localizers end, but right now we're missing most info about the Japanese version and would always appreciate more info about the game's development.

my favourite part about infinity nikki is how UNDENIABLY feminine it is.
its not just a girls game, its THE girls game.
there is no denying that this extremely successful game was made for feminine people.
and so to see this game built off of femininity and love and kindness fall apart in 1.5, to see nikkis character become nothing more than just another “destined saviour…”
im heartbroken.
spoilers ahead
no longer is she saving miraland because shes a good person, because she cares, because she wants to help, because shes fallen in love with miraland.
now she is doing it because she has to. she doesnt really have a choice anymore. if she doesnt save miraland, the seer will just reset her and start the whole thing again.
not to mention that she is the only being in the entire universe who matters now. why would she care about a single faewish sprite in wishfield being teased anymore, only nikki matters apparently.
nikki was soft and sweet and caring, she stood her ground when she needed to and she always listened to both sides. every small issue was important, every life worth defending and saving. because thats just WHO SHE IS.
changing a characters motivations changes who they are. this isnt strong character creation. and this isnt feminism. nikki is a stereotype, thanks seer.
originally I was going to do both Love Nikki and Shining Nikki in one post but it got so long and I have some other things to attend to so I thought I would at least post what i have for Shining Nikki. I highly recommend watching the trailer.
Love Nikki here
Infinity Nikki here
note: I saw some new players a bit confused on why older players love Star Sea so much despite its design being plainer than a lot of the designs we see for high ranking outfits. Star Sea was the first lifetime crafting suit in Love Nikki and holds a special place for many players, so I thought I would try typing the lore out in the hopes of maybe shedding a bit of understanding on it.
Shining Nikki - Designer: Nikki
The story tells of a girl who has hair as dark as night dancing underneath the starry sky. As she dances the night and stars dance with her creating a dress sewn from the thread of fate, with starlight for jewels. The bright stars guide sailors out of the endless sea of stars as stars fall and continents sink, the stars are her only audience.
Star Dream variant: a princess grew up under parents protection, sheltered from common hardships. When darkness descended upon the land she surprised the people by standing to fight against a cruel fate. Her spirit became a star that lit the sky, giving courage to those who feared the dark. The people believed they saw the Goddess of the Starry Night who was a princess from an ancient kingdom and danced like no other. However the war is from over, and the princess awaits a partner to stand by her side and change the kingdoms fate.
In the game Nikki was watching a play and wakes up in a theatre that is not Lodden theatre where she was previously. The host announces the play "Candy Witch and the Star Sea" and says that the audience will get to the Star Sea, a dress gifted from the Goddess of the Starry Night. Nikki realizes she has become the protagonist of the play. (each time someone mentions Nikki's clothing needs to change it enters a styling battle)
Act I: Cinderella and Romeo - boys and girls in tuxedos and dresses dance in pairs underneath a chandelier accompanied by a violin, Nikki feels overwhelmed. A beautiful actress dressed as a noblewoman walks by, Nikki guesses she is Cinderella but the woman corrects her and says she is Cinderella's older sister. She asks why Nikki hasn't changed her clothes yet since Romeo will be coming to the ball.
Act II: A Midsummer Night's Dream - The lights dim and the stage changes to a lush forest. The violinist leaves the stage a harpist takes their place, bringing the audience into a summer night. A group of children dressed as elves with shimmering wings walk by Nikki in a line. Nikki asks what they are supposed to be and the children answer curiously that they are the Elves are Light whose wings can shine. They tell her if she is going into the forest with them she will have to change.
Act III: The Adventures of the Thief Queen - the stage turns to an art gallery at night with an oil painting on display and a girl dancing. A piano plays a fast paced tune as the Thief Queen dances, avoiding police. The audience and Nikki are captivated by her and hold their breath. In a second she appears next to Nikki and tells her their goal is the oil painting, the Star Sea. She tells Nikki she will leave the painting to her and that she should dress better to play the heir of the Thief Family.
Act IV: War of the Seven Nations - The orchestra begins playing magnificent music and smoke appears on stage. The audience looks around in terror as actors appear on stage. Elves flap their wings, demons summon curses, and humans hold weapons. Nikki knows it is only a play but she seems to truly see the cannon fire and hear the screams. During the fierce confrontation a young actor playing the general full of fighting spirit hands Nikki a sword studded with gems. He tells her to get onstage as victory belongs to them.
Final Act: The Birth of the Goddess of the Starry Night - The orchestra gradually stops playing and the choir begins to grow louder. Onstage there is only ethereal singing. The restless audience is soothed and the actors onstage stop to listen to the angel's song together. The divine envoy in white robes stands in the crowd and looks in Nikki's direction. A platform rises in front of her. The actors look in the same direction and slowly kneel, starting to pray. The envoy says to "find peace after war and awaken miracles after destruction. Let us witness the birth of the Goddess of the Starry Night." Nikki stares at the platform which shines with a unique light, as if a god will be born. An actor pulls on Nikki's clothes and tells her that its her cue to put on the clothes of the Goddess of the Starry Night. A force guides Nikki to the high platform as the actors and audience look at her with expectation and hope in their eyes. They're looking forward to the Goddess of the Starry Night ending the war and pain with a sacred dance, bringing joy and hope. In front of everyone Nikki slowly raises her arms. At that moment the spotlight on the stage comes down and everything in front of Nikki turns white.
She wakes to Momo calling her name and is back in Lodden theatre in the audience. Momo tells her the play is almost finished and onstage the lunar eclipse performance is continuing. She comes to the conclusion it was all only a dream.
When I first saw Joy she immediately reminded me of Bobo even if they are different but...In the end they really share similarities.
Their role in the story is similar, they are asked by someone manipulating them to approach Nikki. They are friends but the girls are still spies... And they bear the guilt.
For Joy it's her own father commanding her and for Bobo it's Luna :(
I started to look more for Nikki's games since i saw to pre-save Infinity Nikki...
I remember playing Love Nikki but when i tried to install it again on my phone today it wasn't working well and not that i found the game is from 2016 explains a little... Still had a beautiful art ...
Then now I'm also playing Shining Nikki and (obviously) Infinity Nikki...
But i know not much of her lore from 2012 to 2021 (years of the prior games)
so if someone could explain me or even send me links of the lore i would appreciate a lot actually

NB: this is a summary of the original prologue that was released in v.1.0 (Dec. 2024). Story-wise, it remained the same through v.1.4 (end of April 2025), though I did notice some minor game-play changes between these two versions.
the Attic
Nikki and Momo go up into Mom's attic to find a dress for Nikki to wear to her graduation ball.
Whilst looking around, they come across the floating and purification dresses. Momo puts these into Nikki's backpack.
Also in the attic are:
a mini mock-up of the floating dressa
sketch of the calico (bow-tie) cat
some paintings of places in Wishfield
a painting of the purification outfit in a similar art style to the Impressions;
looking at this painting seems to trigger something in Nikki, but Momo quickly distracts her.
Momo opens (or knocks into) a wardrobe. One of the doors opens slightly, emitting a red sparkling light. Momo and Nikki fully open the wardrobe and find the dress of the Threads of Reunion.
This dress suddenly comes to life and engages Nikki in a dance. As they dance, Nikki is magically donned in each piece of the outfit one by one. The dress pulls Nikki into a rip in the fabric of spacetime (assumedly a portal into the Miraland universe). Momo falls in as well. They reach out and grab each other's hands; Momo wears a cloak that matches the Threads of Reunion.
Ena's Ruins
Nikki and Momo awaken in the ruins of an unknown location.
Nikki says the dress must have magical powers to have transported them here. Momo mentions that he was told fairy tales of such clothes when he was younger.
They get called towards a tower. Once outside, Nikki is told to use the Threads of Reunion to open 'the temple gate'.
Ena the Curator hangs from chains in the center of the tower but is released as Nikki and Momo approach. Ena reveals that she was imprisoned in the tower for 1,000 years after the Heaven Fall. She intimates that Nikki/the former owner of Threads of Reunion should have arrived and released her from the imprisonment sooner. She also mentions that she used to dance with the former owner of Threads of Reunion.
Esslings begin to swarm the three of them. Ena pulls the Heart of Infinity from her chest and trusts in into Nikki's, saying that the Heart of Infinity will give Nikki tremendous power, but she will lose something in exchange. Ena then tasks Nikki with finding the Miracle Outfits.
The esslings surround Ena as Nikki and Momo float upwards towards a kaleidoscope-like ceiling.
Stylist Guild Memorial
Nikki and Momo awaken in the ruins of the Stylist Guild Memorial. As they walk through it, Nikki mentions that the place feels familiar to her, and that "the Heart of Infinity... it feels like its seeking something."
They encounter the first Whim Star. Power "surges" through Nikki. There is a brief cut scene to the Heart of Infinity interface; we're briefly shown two tableau ('Shards') before it zooms into the first one: Wishfield. We are then told via the tutorial pop-up that "Inspirations from your journey are sealed as nodes in the Heart of Infinity."
Nikki tells Momo that these Whim Stars are the embodiment of whimsicality and inspiration; they are the "fuel" for the Heart of Infinity.
As they make their way out of the ruins, Nikki and Momo find Dada surrounded by esslings. After Nikki purifies them, Dada thanks Nikki and introduces herself as the head of the Wishfield Stylist Guild. She shares that stylists are those who use Whim to style and craft clothes anytime anywhere.
Their conversation gets cut short when Dada receives a notification on her Pear-Pal requesting her to return to the Stylist Guild to address some administrative issue in person. Dada hurries off, telling Nikki to swing by the Guild to collect her own Pear-Pal.
Once outside the Guild Memorial, Nikki and Momo see Faewish Sprites for the first time. The Sprites lead them down Memorial Hill to the Florawish Lane Warp Spire.
Nikki Lore Book: Chronicles of Divine Grace: Volume Seven
In the year 371, blessed by The Wishing One, the inhabitants of Old Florawish gathered splendid, robust stones to create a statue of The Wishing One. Upon hearing this, The Wishing One's descendants flew over jungles and lakes to His side, relaying what they had seen.
In the presence of all things in the field, The Wishing One declared, "I am aware of your devotion, and shall bless those who believe in wishes."
The sky was instantly lit with divine radiance, and glimmering golden paper fell from the heavens, landing in everyone's hands and unfolding into paper cranes. Brimming with awe and gratitude, the townsfolk silently voiced their wishes, and the cranes flew toward the Dream Warehouse, carrying the people's wishes. The Wishing One used His mighty power to grant the wishes written on the paper carried by the cranes. From then on, the people of Old Florawish named the paper "Wishflight Paper," and thanked The Wishing One, singing praises in His name. They understood that their wishes had been graced and blessed by The Wishing One.
