i guess i’m proud of it because in the context of the scene i feel like it gets the atmosphere of what i’m going for across? and also ive been trying to continue this fic since 2016 so im just proud of myself for working on it at all

22. i do actually!! not my super old ones that i wrote when i was like squints 11? my first fandom was merlin and i was a baby so the writing wasn’t good and i didn’t even put periods at the end of dialogue sentences hsdjkf but i do reread some of the stuff i’ve written over the past few years! sometimes its a bit embarrassing but also its nice to see how far i’ve come with my writing? i feel like when i reread my stuff i feel better about where i am now, because i can see the improvement.

First, let me tell you how happy it makes me when I see someone using the tags the same borken way I do. Thank you, you made my day! 

Lister wants to marry Ann for money. It is the other way around “what she lacks in rank she makes up for in money”. But really, I think mariage at the time for those who had money and rank, they were probably more often arrange and loveless than the opposite.

I wanted to maybe correct something I’ve said about Ann being already in love with Lister. I mean, yes she was but she didn’t know it was that until Lister told her it was possible. On that part we agree. What I was trying to say is that sometimes you can mistake a feeling for another. So yes, in my eyes, Ann was already infatuated let’s say with Anne but to her eyes it might have been classified as admiration for a life she desperately wants to live. 

It’s sad that we don’t see more of what happened during those 2 weeks between the moment Lister cuts herself on the “accidentally” broken letter opener and their goodbyes before the Lake District. I wonder what happens because Walker’s behavior changes, even without Anne present. She stands up for herself and what she believes. She’s broadening her horizon by reading books Anne lent to her (I wonder what those are - were there any lesbian books back then? Was Sappho already discovered and published? Idk). 

And about that last encounter, we have Anne “dominating” by being on the chair and Ann at her feet. I cannot wait to have the other way around, just once. Just once I want Anne to look up to Ann with all the love she feels for her. Yeah, I’m doomed, I know.

ehehehehehe. It’s been like five years and I still find Drawer of Lingerie so funny. The challenge for that one had been to write a Hollstein story without Hollstein but I’m so glad that all the underwear made a strong visual impression! Follow your arrow is also such a fun one and you know I love some twists on soulmate aus :) Thank you so much! I”m so glad that they could come to life for you <3

4: notp Superwonder. Either version, doesn’t matter. If you ship it, I respect that. To each their own. I just happen to dislike mentor/student ships, which Diana/Kara almost always is. I also cannot separate Supergirl from Supergirl Season 2, which was almost the antithesis of everything Wonder Woman, so wlw Superwonder just isn’t for me. As for Superman, it’s boring. It often reduces Diana’s character to being Clark’s girlfriend and it’s not treated as a relationship of equals. It erases Lois Lane and Steve Trevor and I generally prefer my superpowered heroes to have non-superpowered significant others; it’s a more interesting dynamic that helps me to see the hero or heroine connecting with the human experience. Also, I fUCKING HATE the “oh, being superhumans, we’re only capable of being with other superhumans in bed” argument, which is complete and utterly untrue garbage. Oh! And Diana/Doctor Poison. 

5: first headcanon that pops into my head Every year on the anniversary of Steve’s death, she gets a pint of ice cream, takes it with her when she goes to his tombstone and eats it as she talks to him. When she returns home, she makes a donation to a military cause in Steve’s name. 

6: one way in which I relate to this character “It’s not about what they deserve, it’s about what you believe and I believe in love.” Loves (other people’s) babies. Loves ice cream. Death of a loved one made me want to seclude myself from humanity for 100 years.
