3. ARWEN, my parent’s Australian Kelpie/ very fluffy demon, skins tennis balls and other toys, taking the fluff off them (or the stuffing out of toys) then eating it and pooping it out later where neon poop will cause a scene.  We attempt to dissuade her.  It does not work.

@nightunite yep! She sees me coming home and sprints to my porch, hoping I'll let her in

She's got 3 other hides including a ceramic one she could theoretically use, but the bark one is always where I find her shed. It has the most texture and she can catch her shed on it and crawl out easily. (I believe geckos shed in pieces normally? Snakes shed in one piece ideally, so it's easy for them to be able to snag it and then leave it behind.) She's growing so rapidly I'm replacing her hides as needed though. She's actually got 2 UTH sources with thermostats attached to each. Even though each one is labeled for a 40 gallon tank, they're just not doing the job. I've got towels and plexiglass covering 90% of the mesh top to trap heat and moisture but allow enough air exchange for her. There aren't any vents directly blowing on her, but my central heating unit is powerful and causes sensible air flow while it's running. I've nearly come to the conclusion that I'm just going to have to tack rigid foam insulation across more than the three sides to keep her toasty. Just leave the cool side's front uncovered maybe

WHAT A GREAT! CAT! 

I don’t know what everyone else thinks of it, but I think it’s fantastically scary. I still think VR at this point is a big mistake so I will hold ultimate judgement, but I think it will do well to the 7 people who can afford VR, it’s the perfect platform for horror games.
