"Yes, I feel so lucky I’m not getting anymore scars from this. I’m starting to not be able to tell who made which ones at this point. You should feel so proud for adding to that."
Despite Leon’s bite, he really wasn’t too happy at this point about the constant trouble he found himself in. That night with Two could prove just as dangerous as the last, and though he wasn’t outright afraid of the Waltz, he still felt worry. Every time someone who had it out for him got their hands on him for longer than five minutes, he ended up either bleeding or twisted…or both.
"Tch- you're not still hung up on that, are you?"
The Waltz's tone was slightly abstracted, lacking its usual bite as he circled the large chamber, taking stock.
"What else was I supposed to do with a slave, anyway? I'm used to being on the other end of that stick. And I certainly wasn't about to tell you to go kidnap me a princess, so I went with the second option."
The taller man shrugged, turning back to the knight with a scapegrace one-sided grin before dropping into a well-cushioned chair, wings draped gracefully over the sides.
"...So you can ease your mind on that respect at least, Leon. Long as you don't start trouble, I won't touch a hair on your pretty little head."
