Many remained stationary in March 2020, others much earlier.

I still don't know where I stayed.

Do you remember your life BEFORE 2020? That optimism linked to twenty twenty which for many, unfortunately, has turned into a nightmare.

I've never been a Carpe diem person.

"In short, there is time. I can also do it tomorrow. "

“Eh but I don't have time, I don't have money. I do not want"

How many stupid thoughts that were previously equally stupid beliefs.

My birthday was for me one of the best days of the year. A trip, a day of leisure, a few friends and a pub. A thousand new intentions. In short, it was a kind of New Year of life. But last year, 11 days after my 27th bday, I suddenly found myself locked in the house, with the stupid belief that "a month would have been enough to get out of it".

Since that day, many things have happened: I was lucky enough to keep my job but at the same time risked going crazy for those hours spent forcibly in front of a screen between technical problems and absurd headaches.

But I want to save one thing about the lockdown: time. That time that perhaps I could never have given myself. And I made the most of it with a few black holes along the way (* cough * forced cohabitation * cough *).

I breathed again, really, at the foot of a castle on top of my world. And from there I started enjoying every moment, respecting others and myself.

Friends only through WhatsApp, granny only through a glass.

It was difficult. Really. But I decided to be grateful, to be here and to have started, like it or not, a new life.

2021. We have waited a long time for it and now? 

It will take time but we will see the end of the tunnel. More aware of the unexpected and new reality with which we will have to accept to live with.
