they really really are! if you break them down to their bare bones, both dick and matt are remarkably similar characters, but their pasts and respective origin stories have made them different enough for this ship to be so fucking dynamic. there are a thousand different ways it could go down, a thousand different ways the two of them could react to each other, and that's the hallmarks of a good ship.

good question babe! combat wise? they're both powerfully strong and can fight well enough to be a recurring threat to a well-trained superhero. however, kingpin is a human at peak physical condition and blockbuster is enhanced, so blockbuster has a bit of an edge there

however let's look at the real measurement

kingpin managed to seduce a pretty woman with dark hair and put a ring on it
