Pt 1: Hiya, I found your YT a while back and been loving it ever since! I saw your HC about Virgil just labeling himself Paranoia and wanted to share how I thought of it. While I do think he labeled himself Paranoia I feel like the dark sides are a bit manipulative. Often telling Virgil that the other sides were narcissistic and didn't care about them because the dark sides were "natural" and in their eyes "bad" Spreading thoughts that they'd never truly accept him as they did.
PT 2: So when Virgil first appeared to the other sides he held those thoughts with him. Thinking constantly that even if he did change they'd never accept him, to Thomas he would always be Paranoia. That's how he would be to everyone. So why try to change that?
Thank you! And that’s interesting, I can definitely see that happening (I mean, there is a little bit of truth in the light sides being reluctant to accept the dark ones, too) but now I’m just curious as to how Virgil would’ve changed his trait from Paranoia to Anxiety in this situation.
