so guess what!! you actually can’t just drop public criticism on a fanfic. readers aren’t editors for the author. they are not entitled to give criticism to the author unless the author explicitly asks for it, because fanfic is free content that, in most cases, is simply written for the fun of it

i drink my coffee black, but one of my biggest pet peeves is people who get offended by how others take their coffee. if someone wants sugar, cream, syrup, chocolate, caramel drizzle, and whipped cream on top, LET THEM LIVE. you’re not the one drinking it. if you want to drink a fucking milkshake with extra sugar and drizzle in the morning, GOOD FOR YOU. i think you’re freaking rad.

another pet peeve: monolingual native english speakers who expect perfection from someone speaking their second (or third!) language. mind you, i speak four languages. i think i've earned the right to make a few mistakes. just a thought.
