Nathanael Turner did a photo series of me as my mother -- N I C O -- in Los Angeles last year for a an epic @vicemag article about my art and life that remains in limbo to this day for a variety of “interesting” reasons. Half of the shoot took place inside the Standard Hotel in Los Angeles, the other at an art venue called LA Mother that was hosting my ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE END OF THE WORLD. This was after Vector LA (VECTOR 3.0) closed. 

“LISTEN YOU LASCIVIOUS URCHINS OF THE WIZARDLY NIGHTMARE THAT MOCKS THE INEXPLICABLE HYPOCRISY OF ALL FONTS!  THIS IS NOT PERFORMANCE ART AND IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE” she insists on a loudspeaker, shooing away a funneling crowd of putrefied flesh with her glamazon gift card designed by Chanel 4 Cyclothymic Coptic Egyptians (#C4CCE). “DO YOU HEAR ME? THIS IS NOT ART. THIS IS THE RAMPART. THE RIPOSTE. The Mother Ghost haunting out your womb roast.” She never did care for braggers and she wasn’t one to b o a s t . 

Can you imagine that some reporters think Eye am too evasive when it comes to the details of my personal life? Anything is possible, these days. My mother is the most beautiful woman in the world! My mother sent me to New York like a spy, but I forgot my intention and surveilled myself in ALAN : looking in the mirror, Eye looked everyone who has ever lived or died dead in the Eye of the Eye. My heart is empty, but the songs Eye sing are filled with love for unbridled terror and PostHuman carnage. 

My entire career in time and space has been spiritually centered on embodying Nico internationally and I have succeeded at pleasing myself and my significant (m)others. FInnegan was never awake so how do you propose Eye let him sleep now that he’s dead? Ho ho ho. Finnegan’s Wake! Self parody is a merciless addiction to time. It doesn’t move!

Histrionic personalities came and visited me when Eye knew Bob Dylan he used to look after my son because Andy said I should join them and Marilyn Monroe was in my class because the summer is so energetic, very exciting, Ari is just like mommy now except that’s not my mother and I’m not me

I’m JJ I’m a baby I’m a single dad but what? Jonathan, I will represent your Charlie in the past and future as a present to the sentient lifeforms romanticizing their own extinction. Fetishize me without mercy. Typecast me for being God because I’m beautiful and hook my third eye up to the security camera of a Charity For Limbless Octopi that never stops giving the gift that never receives itself. The receipt mocks the entire parody without the fixed address.

Eye forgot about these portraits of my life as Christa Paffgen until just now, when it suddenly appeared on my computer screen like a valentine from a future former self, time traveling just because she missed her prodigal son. We only like the food that floats around in the wine : Ho ho ho.
