FRESH KILLS (2023) Grade: D

I expected more. The acting is solid, but there’s barely a real plot holding everything together. The film leans heavily on its music, almost treating it like a character itself, though I think that choice does not actually helps the story.

It also runs too long, which only highlights how little narrative momentum there is. By the end, it’s hard to feel much for the characters.
