let’s start w the protagonists of heated rivalry. whys everyone so 😍 (especially ilya and m not even into blondes.) or shane oml he’s such a cutie patootie along w kip. and scott too duh but like i said ilya is my fav (🙇‍♀️).

I got introduced to the idea of it after following @sonic-takeover but i didn’t really start it until I stumbled upon @askthehedgehogs so lots of thanks to the mods!!

I started this as sort if a character study, but it’s now become therapeutic for me. I’ve learned a lot about perspectives and made a lot of friends. I also owe a lot to this, I dont think I wouldve escaped my abusive situation if not for the people ive met through here

Sooo... It was a really emotional experience I should say.

Some parts of the movie were pretty good and at first I really enjoyed it and thought to myself: damn, if only we got a proper 6 episode season of this!.. But then I felt that something is wrong. The whole vibe is off, the pacing is off (which was expected and is not my biggest complain), the interaction between Crowley and Aziraphale is off.

Overall it felt like the whole movie was based on fanfiction as I recognised many of the plot lines I've seen in fics, but it seemed that the movie didn't inherit the sweetest thing that really made those fics great - the beautiful, tender depiction of Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship. Because what do you mean they didn't have a proper conversation after those infamous 15 minutes of Season 2 finale? What do you mean after 6000 years of longing for each other and not talking about it they didn't have a sweet tender moment - a kiss or at least a touch on the cheek?! What do you mean you say final goodbye to the love of your life and you don't even turn to each other (let alone hug each other or kiss each other) as you vaporise?!!

Well, they did talk of course. And there were some beautiful words said. But you know what? Those beautiful words and a couple of shots of them holding hands can be easily edited if you want to censor this movie to show it in a homophobic country. It would be very easy to censor it for Russia, for example, believe me I know and it makes me furiously mad (not that they would license it for Russia, because no one does nowadays, but it's just an example).

Of course kisses and touches is not the only way to show love, especially for Crowley and Azi, but the rules have changed in the Season 2 finale. And in Season 3 they changed the rules again because they chickened out. The only real kiss they had was that heartbreaking and devastating scene in Season's 2 last 15, live with it. (The only thought that hurts me even more - what if it was David and Michael's demand?.. If so I respect that, but it doesn't take away the feeling of being stabbed in a heart).

sometimes it’s easy to lose track , have no motivation or lose sight on why you do it , but its important that the reasons always circle back to you, because you want to

also remember that you will burn out sometimes, and thats alright, just take a break, youre not letting anyone down, the only person you have to focus on making happy is yourself

Yuuta is from sonic and the blade of courage an official Manga owned by sega. He is a great character and deserves more attention. He loves helping others to the point he is usually late for school, he is actually able to fight, he is very brave despite having self-esteem problems, he is cautious but has gotten a bit more reckless thanks to sonic, he is getting character development and is going through a training arc, he is actually willing to fight, and he has some actual insecurities that make sense. Oh and his town including friends and family got petrified infront of him. Plus his sword is pretty awesome, it slows anything it touches for a bit. Yuuta is a good sonic character. Plus he got punched by a freaking Kaiju that could create ravines multiple times, got up after a little girl got into trouble and was the one to deliver the finishing blow. So he is far from weak or useless. He also isn't really annoying personality wise. Also this kid needs a hug, he needs so many hugs. Sonic and Yuuta kinda seem like brothers. Yuuta can be a bit snarky. Plus the blade has two forms other than it's inactive state, those being it's basically courage form which doesn't cut but instead phases through things and absorbs energy making things move slower, and it's true courage form which does actually cut stuff. The kaiju that Yuuta cuts in half was able to tank attacks from sonic and the Manga definitely takes place after Sonic generations. Pretty tough and kind hearted kid.
