thereās a huge difference between being a physical player, one who shoves, gets a lot of hits, some fights, and a player who is repeatedly physically assaulting other players.
not just tonight, after smashing artemi panarinās head, without helmet on, into the ice, but his name comes up again and again. heās been suspended, heās had in-person hearings with the department of player safety, and itās up to the league to do something about him, but they wonāt. so he keeps getting away with hurting other players, purposefully. he was already suspended this season for sending a bruins player to the hospital.Ā
so, fuck tom wilson, fuck the league for continuing to give him the message that this shit is okay, & fuck whoever at the capitals social media decided to make assault into a meme. he is clearly an unsafe player, & needs to be properly reprimanded because it shouldnāt take him ending someoneās career for the league to take action, but if this continues, it just might happen.
