Ridiculous that we only debate serious issues in this country after something monumental happens. The same way we only realize the sensitivity of a life when we lose someone we care about, regardless of whether we've ever met them or not, and vow not to take life for granted again, only to go back into our same patterns and routines within a few days. In a year we'll still be the same selfish, money–hungry society that we've been for years now, giving a fuck about no one but ourselves and the almighty dollar, continuing to perpetuate violence and hating our fellow man. If you really gave a shit about change, you'd start by looking in the mirror.

I have nothing against them if that's what you mean. I personally don't fuck with anything like that anymore. I quit smoking weed too because it just gives me anxiety and fills me with dread. My mind is way too fucked up from my past to be able to trip and enjoy it. It just eats me alive. I also made the tragic mistake of smoking 40 grams of a K2-like substance over a 2 month span and it fucked my mind up more than I ever care to  discuss. But if you're into that shit, more power to you. I envy you.Â
