“...wait, what-?” Chocolate hues flickered up from the price tag of this absolutely gorgeous dress— it was a classic; black satin that fit her like it was destined to show off every curve and delicate physical feature she possessed. Whitney had made the rash decision of taking it into the fitting room for kicks, but ultimately ended up falling in love with it— always a bad move when one knows it’s out of their preferred price range. The main goal for continuing this shopping endeavor was to find something to wear for an important event for her work, and she wanted to treat herself to something new. The young woman sighed and checked herself out in the mirror one more time before she decided to show Nick, who was outside of the fitting room and now offering to buy it for her.

                “ i dont think i really like playing the piano anymore, ” he says casually. he’s just walking through the room, picking up various different things, as if to inspect them, but putting them down too fast to really develop any sort of real feelings about the item. he only did this for about a minute before he became bored of this too and sat himself down on the windowsill, crossing his legs and folding his arms on top of them. 

      “ well-- i like playing the piano, ” he corrected himself-- because he did. “ but i think when we’re touring. it’s stifling to have to sit there for a whole song. it’s a nice break partway through when we do borhap-- but-- would it be bad if i hired someone else to do it for me? i think it might take a load off deaks too-- he picked up the bits for radio gaga, but he’s forgotten a few times, and i just think it might be nice for him. ”

“I thought you were a sheila…”  A blatant lie, of course.  But with Robert’s golden mane and rich clothing, who could’ve really blamed him for thinking so?                Robert Plant may well have been one of the old Gods, cursed to share the earth with mere mortals.  Without equal.  A god maybe, but still…  ancient.                       Even though Nick was only nine years his junior.

                         “From the back, you kind of look like one!”   The PUNK spewed, pressing on.  A boyish grin adorned his mouth.  Nick loved nothing more than to cause a stir.  And if pinching Plant’s ass wouldn’t do it, he sure didn’t know what would.    @nickkave​

Whitney’s face softened, a soft red hue finding her cheeks as a colleague asked her about Nick at the local bar— how could she describe him in a way that would fully do him justice? And considering the fact that she’d been at the bar for a few hours now, and had been completely inebriated.

“Nick is...magnetic. Compelling...” She began. “The embodiment of the beautiful and the ugly— a handsome devil. God, he’s stunning.. and just striking. There’s something about him that makes me want to explore my own boundaries, to push myself to my full potential, y’know?” The brunette was known to get very emotional when under the influence, like a lot of folks- and the subject of Nick was one that allowed her love of words to come out, even if they fell from drunken lips with a hiccup or two in between them. “He has such a beautiful face, and when he performs it’s just primal— whether he’s wailing and rolling around on the floor or....pouring out his heart onto the piano, Nick represents every side of being human. Fuck...”

When Whitney heard a short knock on her front door, it was time to put the second cup of coffee down and see what could be outside. Slowly opening the door, the young woman was a bit confused when nobody appeared to be there, but it wasn’t long before she noticed a book at her feet.
