My background development art for my Nickfluence short!Â
I was inspired by Ian Worrel’s works through the use of his colors, his simplicity and making some clever use of gradients and bold lines as the light source.Â
The “real world” is supposed to be saturated, semi-realistic and forebodes towards a depression... so everything right here appeared bland before going to parts of Nickelodeon’s colorful world.Â

So I was sad that I didn’t make it to the semi-finalists.
But I’m better now.
Because I did win. I got to show Nickelodeon how much they mean to me. I got to show them my art. I got to met a new friend who works for Nickelodeon. I got compliments from people who work at Nickelodeon!!!Â
I got recognition. And I would trade for that over winning any day.
I feel like I’m closer to that door.
