Inside Dime’s guitar stash room playing one of his guitars filming w MTV back in 2009. This is one of my fav pics ever. We were @dimebagzhag house the day before the first #RideForDime event that I hosted in Dallas, and Rita took us into the room housing all of his guitars. @gradychampion had just finished cataloging dozens & dozens of Dimebag axes used on stage, in videos or in the studio. I remember walking into this room and getting a powerful sensation that passed through me like a holy spirit or something. It was a breathtaking energy soul tingle that still to this day I can vividly feel. I saw actual cut outs Dimebag did for his @deanguitars Razorback body style, and I was able to play some @panteraofficial (of course) on this Dime Slime @washburn.authentic ...the reason I’m posting this TODAY is b/c TONIGHT I’m back in Pantera country hosting an event that I’ve hosted more than anything else EVER in my life... an event honoring the life & music of my idols @dimebagdarrell AND his brother @vinniepaul3 - #ridefordimebash2019 takes place at the awesome @gas.monkey.live w @zakkwyldebls and his magically shreddy @blacksabbath tribute @zakksabbath + @killdevilhillmusic (I’ll be singing a #pantera classic w them tonight!) + @donjamiesonofficial making us all metallically laugh + #nickbowcott doing his Dime riff medley + a shit ton of Metal fans who still admire/love Dimebag & Vinnie!!!
