Oh Primus help me
So,,, I've been doodling my tf oc late into the night (it's almost 4 am here) aaaand this happened
The handsome lad on the right, who's name is Drillburst, belongs to the one and only @cuppajj
Here are some other pics of my idw based oc, Moonblast, bc this is the first time I've posted content for her, but not the first time I've drawn this sweetie
I thought she'd get along with Drillburst because she was a professional singer before the war, called Cloud 9. She was the old Senate's only entertainment that didn't hurt anyone. Yet. She got her new name by accident, much like Misfire. And she also got it by shooting something.
You see, the only reason the senate kept her from doing the thing any other helicopter did, was the fact that she was smaller than average. And when the smaller than average copter is a Point One Percenter with a hella good voice and a naive personality, you don't want her to go out to the battlefield and accidentally be convinced that what the senate did was wrong. So they kept her in the dark about her own abilities
When the decepticon movement started, she went to one of Megatron's speeches and wanted to join too, leaving her old life and name behind. Now knowing about the senate's mistakes and all the atrocities they have committed, she was ready to give her life for a better Cybertron
During her decepticon training on a colonized planet her superior told her to "aim for the moon" as a joke and our sweet little femme still did as told
No one expected her to hit it and make it blow up though
That's when she realized what the senate didn't tell her, all that power that could have helped fellow cybertronians before, was hidden from her instead of getting put to good use
While working with the cons she had access to Earth media in a not too legal way, and when she found out about a pokemon named Sylveon that had a move with the same name as her, she changed her paint (which was various shades of blue) to look like that creature
When things have gone south with Megatron wanting to conquer more planets instead of bringing the promised peace to their own, she defected and lived in the shadows as a neutral. Her once comrades had seen this coming, she was too kind for her own good, which would have gotten her killed if she wasn't a strong asset. She was out there, still showing kindness to everyone no matter their factions
After the war she realized that she gained a little fame for blowing up a moon, both factions knew about it, just like about her amiable and kind nature, and that's why Rodimus had asked her to join his quest as a morale booster. What would make a quest more enjoyable than having an own singer as entertainment?
Moonblast of course agreed, because finding Cyberutopia meant everyone having a better life than in the ruins of the old Cybertron
*chaos ensues*
