If you haven’t heard of Sad Magic yet - CHECK THEM OUT. With a psych-garage-rock sound at the heart of their set, they came at us with an incredibly unique (and incredibly *loud*) sound, the likes of which we’ve yet to hear in our neck of the woods. Keep a lookout for our upcoming sets - We've got three AWESOME bands playing our first show at Ripe Art Gallery in Huntington. You'll be hearing from Foresterr, The Backline Band, and Immaculate Heart (coming down from Albany), and there's a little something for everybody. Our closing act from the third session, Yaoi Foot, tore up the room with a sonic onslaught. Evan Cooper's powerhouse battle cries and nonsensical lyricism turned everyone on their heads, while Joe Arias's heavy-handed drum beating almost destroyed the recording! The back half of their set consisted of some wild rapping from both members. The boys played their hearts out.
